Ramadhan Rocks 2008: The Ultimate Thirst Quencher

Ramadhan Rocks 2008
The Ultimate Thirst Quencher

Imagine this: In hot climate, one loses approximately 2.5 litres of water each day through normal bodily functions. 70 percent of the human body is made up of water and to counter dehydration, one needs to restore the proper balance of water in their body.
That is the natural thirst which must be quenched and be satisfied. But what about the thirst of the soul and mind?

Ramadhan Rocks 2008 by Saff-Perdaus, is all geared up to rehydrate the body, mind and soul by imbuing the positive message of Ramadhan through outdoor experiential learning.
Spurred by the achievements of Ramadhan Rocks 2006, Saff Perdaus organised an encore programme last year called Ramadhan Rocks v. Xtreme 1428, which received an overwhelming response from youths.

This year’s event is specially formulated to nourish and uplift the spiritual self through motivational reflections and challenge the human body’s limits, thus discovering new strength from within. With action-packed and exciting activities lined up, such as mass cycling, coupled together with high rope elements, participants can expect an invigorating experience that will have great impact on their minds, hearts and their lives as a whole.

Ramadhan Rocks 2008 offers an optimal combination of physical and spiritual activities that aims to emphasise the appreciation of the human body. This 2 days- 2nights adventure camp which the participants will be experiencing while fasting, will be enlightened on the blessings and readily-functions of their limbs, as they participate in the vigorous sports.

Ramadhan Rocks 2008 will revolutionise the participants' perception of Ramadhan, as energising, soulful and enriching. Not only that, by the end of this camp, the participants will feel more refreshed as their thirst of the body, heart and soul will be quenched.
